Knowledge Alliance is a strong and dynamic community of successful education organizations.  We are proud of both the common cause for excellence generated through our work together and the diversity of perspective among our members. In recent years membership in our association has grown significantly as an increasing number of diverse organizations have recognized the importance of advancing a knowledge and innovation agenda in education.

Our Board of Directors welcomes to our collective cause all types of organizations who are committed to our mission and our quality principles. Eligibility

Organizations in good standing and of all types who agree to a written commitment to our mission and our quality principles are eligible to apply to our Board for membership. All members pay a standard annual fee that is set by the Board of Directors each year (see below).

Small organizations (with annual budgets under $5 million) may apply to be a reduced-fee, non-voting member.

Annual Dues for 2010

For current institutional members, the annual dues are $30,000 effective on the member’s anniversary date.

For new members, the first-year dues are $15,000 or 50% of the annual dues.  Beginning with its 2nd year of membership, the new member will pay the full dues amount established for that year.

For small organizations with budgets under $5 million who apply for non-voting status, the annual dues are $15,000.

Current "affiliate members" whose revenue does not exceed $5 million/year would be eligible for a one-time non-voting, transitional rate of $10,000.

The Alliance’s Executive Committee has waiver authority to address a member’s special circumstances such as transition situations and financial hardships. An application process has been established for those seeking an accommodation.
